july 2023 highlights

july 1st

• loose day where I planed to have no plans. ran and ran errands around the house.

july 2nd

• spontaneous park hang with friends in mccarren until we all got soaked by the rain. saw a show at knockdown center with Jasper.

july 3rd

• took the day off work to rehearse and play a show with Panther Hollow at Purgatory.

july 4th

• Party hopped to a few hangs. biking around brooklyn on the fourth of july one of my favorite summertime activities.

july 5th

• pretty chill day of just working and running errands, played some basketball in the park.

july 6th

• worked from the office which was a mistake because there’s no AC. dropped off a camera for development, manhattan run club with josh

july 7th

• laundry, work and rest. went for a long bike ride and called some friends in the evening.

july 8th

• Attended an Index workshop on how to create an archive in your creative practice. 7 mile run in the heat. Movie night with Noah, Jessica and Owen

july 9th

• Jack and Julia’s friends party for their wedding!

july 10th

• Failed attempt to go to the DMV, not really a highlight 😵‍💫

july 11th

• Successful attempt to go to the DMV 👍. 4 mile run.

july 12th

• Worked from the office, played pool with Eli.

july 13th

• Worked from the office, dinner at Bar Pasquale. Drinks at Horses and Divorces.

july 14th

• Work lunch, my first time in Governor’s Island. Spent some time in Central Park with Alanna. Dinner at the Fly. Drinks at Doris

july 15th

• Second session of Index as a Diary. Run, dinner with Jack, Julia, Josh and Charlotte at Jack and Julia’s.

july 16th

• Rained all morning. Coffee and catch up with Janet at Clementine Bakery. Traveled home to Ardsley in the evening.

july 17th

• Grocery store at 8pm. Worked from the house. Run. Tried some new recipes.

july 18th

• Worked from the house. Run. Tried some new recipes.

july 19th

• Drove into the city, worked from the office. Run. Ate leftovers and started a movie.

july 20th

• Worked from home, rested finished the movie I started last night.

july 21st

• Saw Barbie and Oppenheimer at the mall, 3 mile run, played some basketball too.

july 22nd

• Normal morning. Long Run. Drove into Queens for a terrace party which was a lot of fun!

july 23rd

• Tried a new coffeeshop and went to Barnes & Nobel. Got a pedicure, played basketball and made a bomb french onion grilled cheese.

july 24th

• My parents returned safely from Spain. Cooked dinner for everyone and watched Netflix with my dad.

july 25th

• Traveled back to the city. Worked from the office. Talked to Carolyn on the phone. Four mile run.

july 26th

• Work, pseudo deep clean of the bathroom. 6 mile run.

july 27th

• Attended a poetry reading at Index with Carolyn.

july 28th

• Got coffee and caught up with Vivian in Bed Stuy. Greek food for dinner followed by gelato with my high school friends in Astoria :].

july 29th

• Dirty birds run club long run with Josh. Worked on music, got some drinks and shot some pool at OTB. Kicked with Owen and Jon in LIC in the evening.

july 30th

• Facetime with Callie, plant shopping with Jasper, froyo and Tompkins Square Park with Sammy.

july 31st

• Went to the Apple store to get a new phone after work.
