Music, Personal & Work Highlights of 2022
The theme of the year for me was reclaiming my sense of identity. I started a new job, traveled internationally for the first time in a while, released four new songs and spent quality time with friends and family šš¹š

January
January 3rd: young and nauseous recording session in Greenpoint with my friend and trusted co-producer Jack.
January 21st - January 26th: Spent a few days on Cape Cod with my cousin Jess. I succeeded in relaxing and working on job applications.

January 28th: Got breakfast at Sunset Diner in Greenpoint with some old coworkers to catch up.
February
February 2nd: Attended the Talk Bazar show at Cāmon Everybody in Brooklyn as part of their winter tour.
February 5th: Vibed to Still Woozy at Brooklyn Steele. Caught up with my longtime friend Harry Terrell who was out with the band on drums.
February 7th: My first day as Frontend Developer with Half Helix.
February 12th: Dinner with my parents at Le Garage in Bushwick to celebrate my new job :]
February 16th - March 9th: My best friend Andrew Campbell stayed with me while rehearsing for the upcoming Covey tour.
February 18th: Released āraspberry vinesā as young and nauseous. Itās a cover my favorite Petite League song.

February 20th: Celebrated my friend Graceās birthday with a night out in Williamsburg during Presidentās Day weekend.

February 21st: Ended the long weekend with brunch and shopping with some homies.

February 26th: Celebrating my new job with a very nice meal at DeStefanoās steakhouse in Brooklyn.

March 6th: Caught the Talk Bazar and Alexia show at Union Pool.
March 10th: Summer Salt show at Brooklyn Made, was nice to see this crowd again.

March 20th: Got a new houseplant friend.

March 27th: Pie madness at Stanhope.
April
April 4th: Took my first music lesson in years with music producer and YouTuber Underbelly.
April 9th: Great park hang in McCarren followed by the Covey show at Elsewhere in Brooklyn.

April 13th: The new Package Free Shop website launches. My first big project launch with Half Helix.
April 15: Jakeās birthday party. Followed by brunch with Grace and Andrew.
April 22nd: Saw Charli XCX at Hammerstein Ballroom with Grace and Jeremy.
April 23rd: Dinner at Keenās steakhouse with a few high school friends.
May
May 3rd: Drinks with Camille and Noah at Rocka Rolla after work. This hang set a lot of things in motion that would inform the rest of my year.
May 8th: Celebrated Owenās birthday with drinks and Catan in Park Slope.
May 9th - May 15th: Traveled to Mexico City and Peutro Escondito for the Half Helix annual off site.

May 20th: WIRE festival at Knockdown Center with Grace.
May 21st: Watched the sunset over drinks and Tostitos with Camille on a Brooklyn rooftop.

May 23rd: Dinner with Jake š.

May 24th: Bike ride and Sam Evian show at Brooklyn Made with Camille.
May 27th - June 1st: Spent the long weekend at Cape Cod with Jess, Matthew and Raminta. We saw Top Gun Maverick at the drive in.

June 10th - June 12th: Traveled to Marthaās Vineyard for a family friendās wedding.
June 17th" Released āsupa novaā and āfour hundred coffeesā as young and nauseous.

June 20th: Rode my bike to Our Wicked Lady to see a few friendsā bands play.
June 24th: Pasta and drinks with Tom. We drank a whole carafe of wine.

June 25th: Attended a friendās house cooling party - there was a sword.

June 26th: Day party at Knockdown Center with Grace.
July
July 3rd: young and nauseous recording session with Jack.

July 8th - July 14th: Traveled to Phoenix AZ to see some friends and catch the Covey show there.
July 22nd: Finally had the opportunity to see Kota the Friend live at Sony Hall in the city.
July 28th: Follow up young and nauseous recording session to finish the song I started earlier in the month.
July 29th: Vibed to The Beths concert in Prospect Park with Grace and Jeremy.
August
August 3rd: Fette Sau in Brooklyn with high school friends.
August 6th: My 28th birthday :ā]

August 12th: Caught the Covey show at Mercury Lounge in the city.
August 18th: Performed with Modern Diet at TV Eye celebrating the release of the new record The State of Things.

August 30th: Performed with Panther Hollow at Berlin opening for chloe mk for her record release show.
September
September 9th: Attended Darius and CJ's engagement party in Brooklyn (I introduced them).

September 18th: Caught Eris Drew at Mr. Sunday with Grace.
September 22nd: Performed with Panther Hollow. I don't remember the name of the venue.

September 24th: Biked to Red Hook for barbecue at Hometown Bar-B-Que with Jack and Cannon. We also stopped by Frankās bike shop so I could see the outdoor fish tank.

October 11th - October 15th: Traveled to Toronto to work and hang with the Half Helix team during Shopify Unite.

October 24th: Viewed my friend Jeremyās work as part of a group show at Queens College.

October 28th: Released the fourth young and nauseous track of the year: āangel boyā

October 29th: Halloween party with my friends. I went as ānauseaā of course.
November
All month: Took a 3d Modeling for print through Index Space. A great course focusing on Blender basics.

All month: Took a second course with Index Space called The Launch focusing on the creative process and fostering healthy relationships with personal projects. I launched a website visualizing a year's worth of my own sleep data.
November 12th: Took a little urban mini golf adventure with my friend Jasper in Red Hook.
November 18th: 'Skincare' by BAD is released. I co-wrote and co-produced this track.

November 24th: Thanksgiving with relatives in Cambridge. One of the largest family gatherings Iāve attended in years.
December
December 4th: Saw Yung Lean at Knockdown Center. I had tickets to see him in Brooklyn in April of 2020 - the anticipation had been building for a while.
December 8th: Wound down the work year with the Half Helix holiday dinner and drinks at Aldama in Williamsburg.
December 19th: The new Laura Mercier website launches. Another big launch with Half Helix.
December 23rd: Spent the afternoon baking cookies with my parents and preparing for the final week of the year :]
