2023 Highlights

I accomplished so much this year : ] I discovered new interests and did/felt a lot for the first time. I spent most of the year, thankfully, grounded and in a state of flow. But that was hard work and if you're reading this then I probably know you personally and you should know that I couldn't have done it without you 😌💫💕

January

January 1st

New Year’s Day. Watched the Giants pummel the Colts. There was a beautiful sunset.

January 2nd

Grace’s going away party in Williamsburg.

January 3rd - 6th

Spent a few days with Jason and Nicolene at Jason’s family cabin in South Newfane, Vermont.

Aviv came over and we worked on music together.

January 13th

NRF event, ended up on the roof of the William Vale again.

Giants won a playoff game for the first time in a lot of years.

Dinner with Evan in SoHo followed by the Index Space party. What it year it was for them!

Dinner at King’s County Imperial to celebrate my mom’s birthday.

February 5th-12th

Dog-sat Oakley, the sweetest boy in Brooklyn. One of the best weeks of my year.

Lil trip to LA to hang out with Andrew, Lauren and a bunch of other friends out there.

Went to the movies with Tom and Kaitlin; this was a fun night.

St. Patricks Day party at Noah and Jessica’s apartment.

9 mile half marathon training run, the longest run I’d ever completed to date. Banger of a Covey show at Baby’s in the evening.

May

May 1st

Caught the Breakup Shoes set at Brooklyn Made. So nice to see those boys again.

May 4th - 7th

Darius’ bachelor party in Santa Fe.

May 8th - 11th

Second trip to LA this year. So nice to see Andrew, Lauren and my colleagues out there.

May 12th

Daisy the Great show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. I love to see my homies making it happen.

May 13th - 15th

Owen’s birthday weekend in the Catskills, went for some runs and hikes, made some bomb food and celebrated the birthday accordingly.

May 20th

Completed the NYRR RCB Brooklyn Half Marathon, a huge personal accomplishment for the year. Got brunch with my parents at Kellogg’s after the race.

Spent the weekend in West Palm Beach for Adam and Chloe’s wedding.

Got nachos with Sam at Essex Market, saw the new Spiderman movie which I actually loved.

Paper Moon Records showcase at TV Eye! The music and vibes were perfect, loved the whole night. Saw so many friends too.

June 16th

Got some bomb Thai in Greenpoint with Dom.

June 20th

Dinner with Brendan at Rosemary’s in the city.

June 21st

Summer Solstice, had to watch the sunset from Domino Park.

June 24th - 25th

Spent the weekend in Baltimore for Mike and Ashley’s wedding : ] Smashed out a run with Josh on Sunday evening.

Mid point of the year. Did some reflecting. Night out with Sam, Clay, Nate and crew celebrating life.

Party hopped around Brooklyn. Biking around BK on the 4th of July is one of my favorite activities.

Renewed my drivers’ license lmao.

Lunch on Governor’s Island. Walked around Central Park and Times Square with Alanna. Dinner at the Fly. Drinks at Doris.

Barbieheimer at the Palisades mall. Had Wendy's for lunch, I allow myself fast food once per year.

Drove to Queens for Jon’s terrace party.

Tried a new coffeeshop and went to Barnes & Nobel. Got a pedicure, played basketball and made a bomb french onion grilled cheese.

Whitney roommate hang with Camille, got felafel and tall boys in Washington Square Park.

August 5th

Celebrated the eve of my 29th birthday with a nice run with Owen and Josh followed by dinner at OTB and then drinks at The West. I felt so loved and grateful to be surrounded by my friends.

August 6th

My actual 29th birthday. Did a solo 29 mile bike ride and got dinner with my parents at Lighthouse.

Sat court side for my first ever NY Liberty game, a nail-biter. Attended with Josh and Megan.

Bopped around Williamsburg doing errands, got new running shoes and took ‘em for a test drive.

Saw Eileen on opening night.

Pie baking, six mile run, pie madness winter classic, drinks with Anna, Ami and Clay. Josh’s 30th birthday.

December 10th

Baked cookies, watched football. Carolyn’s cookie exchange in the evening.
